Questions

The things people ask before they book.

If yours isn't here, call +91 84484 01022 - especially if it's a medical one.

Safety & suitability

Start here.

Breathwork and ice baths can be powerful and safe when practised mindfully. Certain medical conditions may require additional care or guidance.

Sabrr runs guided ice bath and cold water immersion sessions in Delhi, usually at The Punjabi Bagh Club. Each one is led start to finish: you are talked through the breathing before you get in, and nobody sits in the cold unsupervised. Dates that are open right now are on the ice bath in Delhi page, and a session is typically two to three hours including the breathwork that comes before it.

Yes. Breathwork runs in Delhi through the year, on its own and paired with an ice bath. Sessions are open to complete beginners, and the same facilitators run the residential retreats in Rishikesh. Whatever is bookable is listed on the breathwork in Delhi page.

Single sessions in Delhi are usually between ₹2,500 and ₹3,000 per person, and the four-day Prana Wellness Retreat in Rishikesh starts at ₹49,000 including stay and all meals. Every date carries its own price on the events page, and payment is taken in full at the time of booking, by card, UPI or net banking.

Clothes you can move in, a swimsuit, a warm layer, a towel and a journal. Mats, singing bowls, art materials, the ice tub, every meal and your stay are all provided. The full four days are in the retreat itinerary.

No. Most people who come to us have never sat in an ice bath or done a conscious breathwork round. Every session is taught from the ground up and you are told exactly what is coming before it happens.

For most healthy adults, yes - with supervision. High blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, recent surgery and pregnancy all need a conversation first. Our booking form asks about these, and you are welcome to call +91 84484 01022 before you commit.

It happens, and it is not an emergency. Conscious-connected breathing can bring up tingling in the hands, a tight jaw, tears, or a wave of something you were not expecting. A facilitator is in the room the whole time and will come and sit with you. You can stop and simply breathe normally at any point - nothing is lost by doing that, and nobody will make anything of it.

Not the ice bath or the strong breathwork - both change your heart rate and blood pressure in ways we will not gamble with. Sound healing, gentle Hatha and art therapy are usually fine with your doctor’s go-ahead. Tell us when you book and we will build your session around what is safe.

Yes, if you feel up to it. Cold immersion is safe during menstruation; some people find it eases cramps and some find it uncomfortable. Neither is wrong. Tell the facilitator so they know to keep an eye on you, and get out whenever you want to.

As long as you choose. A facilitator stays at the tub for every immersion, and you get out when you decide to. Nobody here will talk you into staying in longer - the point is meeting the intensity, not winning at it.

No, and we will never claim it is. Our practices work alongside professional support. When structured, ongoing help is what you need, our therapist referral panel connects you to CBT professionals we trust.

Sabrr sessions and the Prana Wellness Retreat are for guests aged 18 and over. If you are younger and would like to come, write to us before you book - tell us your age and which session you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can make it work and what a parent or guardian would need to do.

Something you can move and breathe in, and a swimsuit under it if the session includes the ice bath. Bring a towel and a warm layer for afterwards - you will be colder than you expect for about twenty minutes once you are out. Everything else for the practice itself is there.

Call the number on your confirmation and come anyway. Breathwork rounds start together, so if the round has begun a facilitator will settle you at the side and bring you in at the next one. For the ice bath we can almost always fit you in, because the immersions run one at a time.

No. Nobody is asked to introduce themselves, explain why they came, or say anything about what came up. If you want to talk afterwards there is always someone to talk to, and if you would rather leave quietly that is completely normal here.

The retreat

Rishikesh, 2–5 October.

Comfortable clothes you can move in, a swimsuit for the cold work, a warm layer for early mornings by the river, a towel, sandals and a refillable bottle. Mats, bowls, art materials and the cold-plunge equipment are all provided.

Most people do. Single occupancy gives you a private room. Double occupancy pairs you with another solo guest of the same gender - unless you tell us at booking who you're travelling with, and then we'll room you together.

No. Everything runs, nothing is compulsory. Sitting one out and reading by the river is a perfectly good use of the retreat, and no one will comment on it.

Yes - sattvic vegetarian meals throughout, which is the tradition in Rishikesh. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs in the booking form and the kitchen will work around them.

Dehradun (Jolly Grant, DED) is about 35 minutes away; Haridwar Junction is the reliable railhead, around an hour by taxi. You can add a return airport transfer while booking.

Yes. Four or more and it is worth writing to us rather than booking one at a time - we will hold the places together and sort the pricing out. We also run closed sessions for teams and for private groups, in Delhi or wherever you are.

Your place is yours, and the confirmation email arrives straight away with your booking reference and a link that opens your own booking. There are a few more questions behind that link - who else is coming, anything you take regularly, anything you want us to know - and they are better answered unhurried than at a checkout. We follow up with the exact address and what to bring, and if something in your health answers needs a conversation a facilitator rings you. If we then decide we can’t safely take you on that date, you are refunded in full.

Get in touch as early as you can. Where we can move you to a later date or release your place we will - the full position is in our terms, and for a retreat it depends how close to the dates we are, because the stay is booked on our side too.

Booking & payment

Practical things.

In full, on the site - card or UPI, at the end of the booking form. We don't take part payments or deposits: a place that hasn't been paid for isn't held, and places go in the order they're paid for. Your confirmation email arrives straight away.

Get in touch as early as you can on +91 84484 01022 or Info@sabrr.org. Where we can move you to a later date or release your place, we will.

Not as a rule. If we do put a code together for a specific group or occasion, we hand it to you directly - there's nothing to guess from this page. Bringing four or more? Write to us and we'll sort something out.

Yes. Sessions run regularly in Delhi, usually at The Punjabi Bagh Club. Whatever is open for booking is on the events page, which updates the moment we add a date. Retreats are held in Rishikesh. For corporate or private group sessions elsewhere, get in touch.

It goes to the facilitators running your session and nowhere else. If something you've told us needs a conversation, someone will call you before your date. See our privacy policy.

Still unsure? That's a good reason to call.
