Six practices
Different practices. One intention. Breathing.
Some people need to move. Some need to be still. Some need to be cold, or loud, or covered in paint. Every one of them starts in the same place - with your breath. Pick the door that sounds bearable today.
Where to start
What brought you here?
Pick the one that sounds most like you today. There is no wrong door.
Breathwork
The fastest way into your own nervous system.
Guided breathwork practices designed to help regulate the nervous system, release tension, and create space for greater calm and clarity.
You don't have to believe anything for this to work. Lengthen the exhale and the vagus nerve does the rest - heart rate drops, the body reads it as safety, and the thinking mind gets quieter without being argued with.
- Around 60–75 minutes, lying down
- No experience needed - every round is talked through
- Often paired with the ice bath as one session
Ice Bath
Two minutes that rearrange the whole day.
Guided cold-exposure experiences that challenge the body, sharpen the mind, and help you reconnect with your capacity to stay present under pressure.
The cold is not the point. Staying with the cold is. You learn, in a controlled and supervised way, that you can meet something intense without running from it - and that lesson does not stay in the tub.
- A facilitator stays at the tub the entire time
- You get out when you decide to. Always.
- Wellbeing screening required before your first immersion
Sound Healing
Being played rather than playing.
Immersive sound experiences created to encourage deep relaxation, presence and restoration.
Bowls, gongs and voice, close enough that you feel them in your sternum as much as you hear them. There is nothing to do - which, for most people who come to us, is the hardest and most useful part.
- Lying down, blanketed, roughly an hour
- Good for people who cannot sit still to meditate
- Runs on the retreat as an evening session
Art Therapy
For the things you can't find words for.
Expressive creative practices that give emotions another language - helping you explore, process and express beyond words.
You do not need to be able to draw. Nobody looks at what you make unless you want them to. The point is the hour your hands spend doing something your mouth can't.
- All materials provided
- No skill, no critique, no sharing unless invited
- Often the session people are most reluctant about, and least want to end
Hatha Yoga
Classical, unhurried, taught in its own town.
Traditional Hatha yoga practices designed to strengthen the body, settle the mind and cultivate steadiness.
Held by teachers trained in the Isha and Classical Hatha lineages, in Rishikesh, at the hour the practice was meant for. Fewer postures than you're used to, held far longer than you expect.
- Sunrise practice on every retreat morning
- Adapted for complete beginners in the same room as experienced practitioners
Therapist Referral Panel
When what you need is a professional.
Access to a curated network of trusted CBT professionals for those looking for structured, ongoing therapeutic support.
Breath and cold and sound will take you a long way. They will not take you all the way, for everyone, always. When the honest answer is "you need therapy", we say so - and we hand you a name rather than a search engine.
- Qualified CBT practitioners, personally vetted
- Referral is confidential and carries no obligation
- Available whether or not you've been to a Sabrr session
